RAINING ON DELIVERY DAY? WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED.

(LITERALLY)

At Firewood Factory, we know the feeling. You wake up, see grey clouds or a light drizzle, and suddenly think, “Is my firewood going to turn into a soggy mess before it even makes it to the shed?”

Take a breath and put the kettle on — we’ve got it covered.

Keeping your firewood dry is our priority. Over the years, we’ve perfected the art of the Rainy Day Delivery. A bit of bad weather doesn’t stand between you and a warm, cosy home.

Here’s why you can relax when the rain rolls in:

  • Loaded under cover – Your firewood is kept protected from the moment it’s prepared for delivery.
  • Fully covered transport – All of our delivery trucks and trailers are fitted with custom-made, heavy-duty covers to keep your wood dry on the road.
  • Extra protection when needed – If the weather calls for it, we’ll place a complimentary polythene cover over your firewood on delivery. (see pics below)
  • No need to be home – You don’t have to disrupt your day or rush home to pack it away — we make sure it’s protected for you.
  • Service with a smile – Friendly, reliable service every time, because we genuinely value your custom.

  • DRY TRANSIT

All our trucks are equipped with heavy-duty covers. Your wood stays bone-dry while it’s on the road.

  • COMPLIMENTARY COVER

If it’s raining when we arrive, we don't just dump and run. We provide a complimentary protective cover over your pile to keep the moisture out until you’re ready to stack it.

  • BUSINESS AS USUAL

You don't need to rush home or cancel your plans. Our "covered delivery" service means your wood is protected even if you aren't there to greet us.

OTHER IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

A cubic metre of Firewood is classified as a 1m by 1m by 1m cube that is filled with hand-thrown firewood.

The majority of the wood that we process is either from forestry blocks and farm lots or from mature shelterbelt removal.  This wood is therefore sustainably sourced and carbon neutral.
